Trump from a Biblical Perspective

Seeing Trump Through the Eyes of Scripture

trump-pres-unthankful

IF OUR PRAYERS FOR OUR NATION/CITY/STATE DIDN’T MATTER, JEREMIAH 29:7 AND 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-3 WOULD NOT BE IN GOD’S WORD. IT’S NOT OUR PLACE TO PROGNOSTICATE WHEN WE THINK JESUS WILL COME AND HOW END TIME EVENTS WILL PLAY OUT. LET’S LEAVE THAT TO GOD AND SIMPLY DO WHAT HE SAID.

FOLKS, Jesus is coming. For now, we have been granted a short window to serve our LORD in this country …. Trump was a miracle, an answer by God to the prayers and actions of His people, and an ousting of a completely diabolical, satanic, cold-blooded child murdering regime……. We would do well to stop and give Jesus praise….. There’s no hint here that any man or men are our saviors …. get a grip and rightly divide friends. God is good and “EVERY good gift” if straight from Him (James 1:17). Feel free to share this post.

politics vs bbibleSaints, Donald Trump is a SECULAR ruler, not an officer/elder of the body of Christ. So, those qualifications do not apply (1 Timothy 3). That’s the biblical perspective and will help us assimilate things through the eyes of the King of the kingdom of God. Please share and please pray for those in authority saints (1 Tim. 2:1-3). It’s SATAN who wants us out of involvement in government and other aspects of this world. Yes, “come out from among them” AND speak the light of truth into that darkness! “Come out from among them” in 2 Corinthians 6 is speaking of the way we live – we no longer live as the sinful world but we do shine the light of Christ into that darkness! If we don’t no one will! Jesus says that due to Him being in us – we are “the light of the world” and the “salt of the earth.” (Matthew 5:13-16). Preach saints.

Perhaps we should shut up and pray, just as God’s Word instructs us specifically to do “for all that are in authority.”

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” 1 Timothy 2:1-3

NO, THIS IS NOT A PLEA TO “MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE.” THIS IS NOT A CALL TO ESTABLISH GOD’S KINGDOM IN IT’S FULNESS OVER THE EARTH WITHOUT JESUS HERE. HE’S COMING SOON, WE’RE LIVING AND LOOKING FOR HIS SOON RETURN, AND SO IF WE ARE GOING TO WIN SOULS, IT MUST BE NOW! THERE WILL BE NO LOST SOULS IN HEAVEN TO WIN TO JESUS! SELAH.

What the Bible Says About Familiar Spirits

witchcraft familiar spirits

Todd Tomasella: “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I AM the LORD your GOD.” Leviticus 19:31 King James Bible

A familiar spirit is a demon that is summoned by a medium with the intention that the spirit summoned will obey his or her commands. Often, familiar spirits are believed to be the spirits of people who have died (Duet. 18:11). However, Biblically this is not the case. Such appearances are in actuality demonic forces imitating people in order to deceive.

We know that people cannot come back from the dead from what Jesus said in Luke 16:19-31 when He gave us the story of Lazarus and the rich man. Jesus said in verse 26 “and besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.” So, we can see that people cannot come back from the dead. However, we cannot leave this topic without addressing 1 Samuel 28 that deals with Saul and the medium who, apparently, actually contacted the departed Spirit of Samuel. Commentators are split on whether or not this was actually Samuel, but the text seems to imply it was. So why the exception? We are not sure, but it might have been allowed for the purpose of rebuking Saul for his sin–something that does not happen with familiar spirits when they manifest. Perhaps it is a teaching tool to show us the difference between those who are really of God (Samuel) and those who are not (familiar spirits).

familiar spiritsThe two words, “familiar spirit,” in the King James Bible are translated into the English from the single Hebrew word obe אֹוב.

• Lev. 19:31, “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”
• 1 Chron. 10:13, “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it.”
• 2 Chron. 33:6, “And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.” • Lev. 19:31, “Do not turn to mediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.”
• 1 Chron. 10:13, “So Saul died for his trespass which he committed against the LORD, because of the word of the LORD which he did not keep; and also because he asked counsel of a medium, making inquiry of it.”
• 2 Chron. 33:6, ” He made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.

“Question: “What are familiar spirits?”Answer: The word familiar is from the Latin familiaris, meaning a “household servant,” and is intended to express the idea that sorcerers had spirits as their servants ready to obey their commands. Those attempting to contact the dead, even to this day, usually have some sort of spirit guide who communicates with them. These are familiar spirits.

Leviticus 19:31; 20:6, 27; and Deuteronomy 18:9-14 refer to “mediums and familiar spirits” and forbids being involved with them, as they are an abomination to the Lord. A medium is one who acts as a liaison to supposedly contact or communicate with the dead on behalf of the living. In reality mediums are contacting demons who convince the mediums that they are “familiar” and can be trusted and believed. The practices associated with mediums and familiar spirits were banned in Israel, and the punishment for practicing such things was death.

familiar-spirits1Familiar spirits and spirit guides are under the control of their master, Satan. They influence people to spread lies and deceit in order to thwart the kingdom of God. To knowingly open oneself to the work of demons is an evil thing: “Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [a] fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12a). Some avenues through which demons or “familiar spirits” can gain entrance into a person’s life are divination, transcendental meditation, visualization, necromancy, witchcraft, drugs, and alcohol, sin filled occult movies and sinful acts. These are all activities that believers are exhorted to avoid. Instead, we are to be filled with the Holy Spirit, with love, with joy, and with the fullness of life that comes from personally knowing The LORD Jesus Christ. We are also to be on guard, “for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12).

“And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set My Face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I AM The LORD your God.” Leviticus 20:6-7 {KJV}

“And when I see the Blood, I will pass over you.” Exodus 12:13b King James Bible

How We Know the Bible is the only Holy Book

Jesus-angry-look

This is an essential component of divine truth imperative for a sound foundation.

“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” Isaiah 46:9-10

ONLY GOD COULD KNOW “THE END FROM THE BEGINNING.” (ISAIAH 46:9-10) PLEASE MEDITATE ON THIS. THE WORD OF GOD IS SEEN TO BE JUST THAT BECAUSE IT FORETOLD IN DETAIL BEFOREHAND MANY EVENTS THAT HAVE COME TO PASS JUST AS THEY WERE SPOKEN HUNDREDS AND SOMETIMES THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THEY HAPPENED. FOR EXAMPLE: THE EXACT TOWN THE MESSIAH WAS TO BE BORN IN WAS FORETOLD (BETHLEHEM) AND HE WAS (MICAH 5:2), THAT HE WOULD BE MIRACULOUSLY BORN OF A VIRGIN AND HE WAS (ISAIAH 7:14), THAT HE WOULD BE CALLED EMMANUEL AND HE WAS AND IS (ISAIAH 7:14), THAT HE WOULD BE BETRAYED FOR 30 PIECES OF SILVER AND HE WAS (ZECHARIAH 11:12-13), …. MORE ON THE CHART BELOW.

The LORD told us in His Word that not one of His promises, including the prophecies of His and our Messiah, would ever fail. They are as sure as life and the One who gave it.

“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail … ” Isaiah 34:16

No other “holy book” can make this claim (foretelling the future and their exact fulfillment) which makes them false, counterfeit.

THESE PROPHETIC PROMISES AND THEIR FULFILLMENT WOULD BE STATISTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE UNLESS THEY ORIGINATED FROM GOD WHO TELLS THE END FROM THE BEGINNING.

More prophecies and their fulfillment on the chart below. Please pore prayerfully over the list of these prophecies and their fulfillment and please help others to know this amazing, divine phenomenon.  This will be the most foundation-building study of your whole life. This is essential in being truly grounded in Christ.

Encouragement for Those Fighting the Good Fight

Good Fight quote

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith (Galatians 6:9-10).

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2)

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:13-14

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord (Psalms 27:14).

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne (Revelation 3:21).

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (Revelation 21:7).

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (Matthew 24:13).

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren (Luke 22:31-32).

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:13).

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love (John 15:9).

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him (Psalms 126:5-6).

Why Christians Shouldn’t Yoga

yoga

Todd Tomasella: “Yoga means to yoke. Yoking with demons! We take His yoke, it’s easy. His burden is light. Thanks brother!” Angela Alatorre

YOGA is a cheap substitute for the real thing. Yoga can’t forgive your sins or remove the anguish, grief, and shame associated with sin. Jesus is the Prince of peace and without Him there is no peace. Only Jesus can do that! Only Jesus saves. Only Jesus redeems. Only Jesus heals. Only Jesus forgives. Only Jesus cleanses the conscience and grants eternal life!

You are a sinner in need of God’s forgiveness.

God made our bodies to breath automatically. There’s no need not learn how to breathe better. In fact, you may be breathing in demons and becoming demon possessed. The need is for repentance for the forgiveness of sins and to prepare to meet our Maker.

What is Yoga?

Simply put: Yoga means yoking. Yoga is the bringing in of evil spirits from the enemy of all souls via exercise. Exercise is the catch. The Bible tells us that “bodily exercise profiteth little.” There is a “little” profiting to “bodily exercise.” Since most of us don’t get much exercise during our work day, we utilize gyms etc., to get that exercise. In doing so, Satan is capitalizing on this phenomenon – he’s crept in unawares to beguile and possess as many as possible.

Douglas R. Groothuis, Professor of Philosophy at Denver Seminary and a respected specialist on the New Age Movement, warns Christians that yoga is not merely about physical exercise or health. “All forms of yoga involve occult assumptions,” he warns, “even hatha yoga, which is often presented as a merely physical discipline.” While most adherents of yoga avoid the more exotic forms of ritualized sex that are associated with tantric yoga, virtually all forms of yoga involve an emphasis on channeling sexual energy throughout the body as a means of spiritual enlightenment.

Deceitfully Crouched in Innocence

Yoga is just another typical age old deception repackaged.

“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” Genesis 3:6

Yoga is like what is called “whidevilste magic” or “good witches.” No such thing as good or godly magic or witches. They are all from the dark side and therefore in opposition to the light of Jesus Christ who is the light of the world (John 8:12). Such deceptive terms are used by “seducing spirits (demons)” to cloak their evil agenda in order to ensnare the gullible.

“The word yoga is problematic. Yoga means ‘to yoke.’ … using the word begs the question, ‘Yoked to whom?’ …the postures and techniques of yoga were designed to be offerings to the millions of Hindu gods. But ultimately, yoga was intended to yoke a person to the so-called ‘Lord of Yoga’ – Sheva, the destroyer. …these realities make yoga, regardless of how it’s packaged, incompatible with Christianity.”

“Yes…Amen! He (Jesus) is our Peace. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you….” (John 14:27)” Eliset Igat

“AMEN A MILLION TIMES, NO YOGA, PIYO, HOROSCOPE, ENERGIES, MEDITATION, NONE OF THIS…. AMEN AND AMEN.” Paula Brinson

“I meditate on God’s Word and not sitting like that— it looks demonic.” Valencia Hargrave

“So, what you are saying is that a huge portion of those saying they are saved are going to church on Sunday and are like swinging half-dressed from the rafters during the week! And they call that the narrow road!!! Just like the world, in their mind there is no such thing as an abomination because if it fits their fancy it has to be okay. HOWEVER, THE LORD SAYS AND WILL TREAT YOGA, BREATH PRAYERS, CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER, ALL OF IT AS AN ABOMINATION! His thoughts are not our thoughts, His are much higher. We are not to take on the practices of eastern religion—or any other for that matter. Why? Because it is all Satan’s power, not the Lord’s. Every other religion was begun under the influence of Satan himself to draw men away from Christ, the only one who could save them and give them eternal life. And he, Satan, provides them with all kinds of practices and experiences to keep them on his line— away from the true and living God, the one and only God, the only way to Heaven.” Karen Graves

What Does “Double Honour” Mean?

Biblical Knowledge Quiz

Todd tomasella: WHEN the apostle Paul says that those divinely called-out men who “labour in the word and doctrine” are to “be counted worthy of double honour”, does he mean that those He prepared and assigned to daily feed His flock:

A) Should be shunned and live broke in this world, not making it, distressed due to not being able to pay their bills? OR,

B) They should be paid approximately twice (this is what “double honour” means – not lavish yet over and above) the average pay in order that they have no worries about finances and are therefore able to contiguously perform with no concerns the infinitely most important and only eternal work in the earth?

double honor quote

Here’s the neglected passage:

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” 1 Timothy 5:17-18

The answer is B.

In repeating this divine command “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn,” he is speaking of feeding, supplying, reciprocating the ox that you are receiving benefit from. The pictorial illustration is one of agricultural. Think about it: You own land and farm it. You use animals to sow the seeds and harvest the crops. Now, those animals are benefiting you and it’s a small duty for you to keep them fed and replenished and supplied, right? Yes and so it only hurts you to starve them, right?

For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” 1 Timothy 5:17-18

This is a divine command saints and therefore a personal responsibility God has given you. The Bible is full of the divine promise to replenish your personal supply when you obey Him.

christian quote“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-11

Read 1 Corinthians 9:1-14.
Think about it: YOUR personal life is greatly bettered today due to those who have preached to you the very words of God. And the Bible specifically instructs you to fund those who feed you.

Redemptive Withdrawal: Another Major Cross Principle

Jesus miracle

There are four components of the cross principle of redemptive withdrawal:

1.God WITHDRAWS His protective hedge or hand from a person and permits the devil and his minions to attack the person usually within certain limits.  Main example: God withdrew His protective hand from Jesus and allowed Satan and his earthly representatives to attack and crucify Him.  This can and does happen to good believers.  See Job 1:9-12; 2:1-7; Luke 22:31-33.  It can also happen as a corrective to people engaging in evil acts.  See 1 Cor 5:5; 1 Tim 1:19-20.

2.God always does this Withdrawal for a REDEMPTIVE PURPOSE, never for a vengeful or retaliatory purpose.  In Jesus’ case, God’s purpose was the salvation of the world.  In Peter’s case (Luke 22), to sift Him of his fleshly, impulsive and selfish tendencies.  For the sexually immoral man in Corinth (1 Cor 5:5), that his spirit might be saved on the day of the Lord; and for Hymenaeus and Alexander (1 Tim 1), so that they would learn an important lesson.

3.God’s withdrawal of protection GRIEVES Him and He always SUFFERS WITH the sufferer.  Luke 19:41-44; Col 1:23-24; 2 Cor 1:5; Ex 12:23 KJV; Gal 2:20; Dan 3:25; John 11:35-36.  God never inflicts suffering.  He only SUFFERS WITH the sufferer.  God never causes violence to anyone.  God absorbs violence for everyone, especially His enemies.  Rom 5:6-9.  The story of Calvary is the proof text for this principle.  God loves and suffers with His enemies but never directly causes them to suffer.  Rom 5:6-8.

4.Through these 3 components and the principle of the cross, God allows Satan, sin and evil to SELF-DESTRUCT in an Aikido-like fashion.  The word “aikido” means “the way of peace” or “the way of the harmonious spirit.”  Aikido is a martial arts technique that trains “warriors” to engage in non-resistant combat, turning the force of aggressors back on the aggressors in order to neutralize them and hopefully to enlighten them regarding the evil in their heart that fueled their aggression.  The cross reveals that God wisely uses this aikido-like strategy in judging sin and overcoming evil.*  Heb 2:14; Col 2:15; 1 Cor 2:6-8; Ps 37:1-3; Ps 7:15-16; Ps 9:15-16.

I-Die-Daily-Todd-tomasella

The redemptive purposes of God teach us the following:

1.Why bad things, things that take us to the cross, happen to good people;
2.How God can save the world with violating anyone’s freewill;
3.How God can destroy evil without doing direct violence or lifting a finger of His own anger or retribution against anyone;
4.Why God, at the cross, is both love and wrath at the same time, LOVE to those who accept and have faith in the love of God at the cross and WRATH to those who resist and reject the love of God at the cross;
5.How God makes use of Satan, sin and evil to bring about redemption, salvation and sanctification (Luke 22:31-33; 1 Cor 5:5);
6.How all things, especially the negative things that happen to us, work together for good (Rom 8:28);
7.Why all suffering (“the cross”) is always redemptive for those who receive it and embrace it in faith;
8.How God uses for good those times when we feel spiritually dry and distant from God;
9How God uses everything, good things as well as bad things, especially the bad that Satan always causes, to save the unbeliever and to grow the believer;
10.How to explain Old Testament passages that seem to be saying God is directly angry, violent, vengeful and the direct  cause of evil but really speaking of His redemptive withdrawal (Ps 78:48-49).  His anger and violence is actually His Redemptive Withdrawal and His allowing of Satan, the angry, violent, killer, to attack people as God did with Job in Job 1, 2 and 42;
11.How the story of the cross and resurrection (Redemptive Withdrawal) are the paradigm for all truth and the lens through which we must read the entire Bible.
12.How all negative forces in the universe proceed out from Satan and all positive forces come from God;
13.How God can be an unconditional lover always in every situation;
14.How God uses for good all the evil that Satan and his people cause against Him and His followers (Gen 50:20);
15.How God, through this doctrine, gives us 50:20 vision, a NEW way to view the world (“newness of life” or a “renewed mind”) !
