Marry Someone Who Cares!

RECENTLY, an advertisement popped up that read “Date Someone Who Care!” Apparently the people running this ad had tapped into the obvious fact that most American unmarried people are full of self and therefore could care less about anyone else except themselves (2 Timothy 3:1-7).

marriage-family-unmarried-single We even see this self-worship and self-absorbtion among those who claim to be saved. and yet we know that such who serve self instead of the Savior and others are not Christ’s at all.

If you are truly born again and unmarred, I also exhort you to 1) truly repent and lay down your life afresh – deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow Jesus, and 2) date someone who is equally yoked and therefore cares for God and others before themselves – a true Christian.

“Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippans 2:3-4
i-die-learning-to-die-promoHell is full of rebellious souls who while claiming to be followers of Jesus, they followed their self-serving pastor who accomodated them instead of fearing and obeying God.

SUNDAY: LISTEN to who preaches the cross and who refuses to. Therein you will see the true/false. Christ will not remain/abide in the individual life where there is no dying to self.

“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:24

The daily cross is Jesus’ instruction, desire, and imperative – regardless of the fact that few who claim to be representing Him ever preach this paramount Gospel truth (Luke 9:23-24).
